Welcome, we're so glad you're here
It all started with a late-night conversation in the kitchen with the idea of putting a tuxedo rental shop in a vacant spot next to Kristina's family's dry-cleaning business. Upon making it happen, a love of fashion and bridal turned into Imperial Formal Wear opening its doors in 2014. ​10 Years later, we've been so lucky to work with the best brides and designers across the world.

Kristina married her husband, Tyler, in 2016 (you may even see him in the shop sometimes since he's the chiropractor at Forge Chiropractic in the same strip!) and they have a son, Asher, who was born in 2023.
The Boutique
Growing up in Birmingham, AL, and working in the community, Kristina fell in love with downtown Birmingham. Conveniently located nestled between Crestwood and Avondale in the historic Woodlawn community, our boutique is located. With a vision and some (major) TLC our original side of the boutique has transformed throughout the years. In 2021, we opened up our expanded bridal showroom and bridesmaid room.

With combined years of experience in the industry, we're constantly up to date on the newest trends, well-versed in timeless looks, and knowledgeable on all things styling.
We've also been lucky to work with some fabulous vendors in the area and love hearing who've you've chosen to work with (or still need suggestions for!).
